Namaste and Welcome to the Underground. This is (hopefully) the farthest away from mainstream culture that you will ever be. Explore your darkest fantasies, desires, inspirations, and dreams in our books and media.
We are a webzine primarily interested in publishing the written word. However, we would like to expand our base eventually, and publish music. ANY music out there that doesn’t sound like it belongs on the radio, we are interested in hearing. Stay tuned for Dark Woods & Wastelands first musical release: blackhoodygrrl (2009)
This is not an exclusionary community. Although we prefer dark subjects (define that however you like), we don’t just publish “goth” books and music. Anything that can be described by luscious adjectives like: macabre, melancholy, morbid or morose, usually piques our interest. Also weird, obscure, esoteric…we like those too.
